Fellas:
Before you is a treasure of a double rifle. A follower of my blog / website sent me these four pics of his Rigby 12-bore double. The fully rifled barrels have a twist of 1:52 and reportedly shoots a Paradox bullet quite well. Four sight leaves of 50-100-150-200 will give this double everything it needs to harvest deer in the forests of the east coast (where it is taken to the woods on "good days"). Three drams is a light load and 4 1/2 drams a heavy load. These old rifles are meant to be used now as they were 100+ years ago. This Rigby dates to 1867. Why folks buy new rifles when these vintage works of art are around is a mystery to me. Cal
